Wilderness Outpost takes your privacy seriously. Please read the following to learn more about our Security, Privacy, Shipping and Return policies.

What This Privacy Policy Covers

This policy covers how Wilderness Outpost treats personal information that Wilderness Outpost collects and receives, including information related to your past use of Wilderness Outpost products and services. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Wilderness Outpost does not own or control, or to people that Wilderness Outpost does not employ or manage.

Information Collection and Use

Wilderness Outpost collects personal information when you register with Wilderness Outpost, when you use Wilderness Outpost products or services, when you visit Wilderness Outpost pages or the pages of certain Wilderness Outpost partners, and when you enter promotions or sweepstakes. Wilderness Outpost may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from business partners or other companies. When you register we ask for information such as your name, email address, birth date, gender, zip code, occupation, industry, and personal interests. Once you register with Wilderness Outpost and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.

Wilderness Outpost collects information about your transactions with us and with some of our business partners, including information about your use of financial products and services that we offer.

Wilderness Outpost automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, Wilderness Outpost cookie information, and the page you request.

Wilderness Outpost uses information for the following general purposes: to customize the advertising and content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.

Children

When a child under age 13 attempts to register with Wilderness Outpost, we ask that he or she have a parent or guardian create a Wilderness Outpost Family Account to obtain parental permission.

Wilderness Outpost will not contact children under age 13 about special offers or for marketing purposes without a parent’s permission.

Wilderness Outpost does not ask a child under age 13 for more personal information, as a condition of participation, than is reasonably necessary to participate in a given activity or promotion.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Wilderness Outpost does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you’ve requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with Wilderness Outpost under confidentiality agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help Wilderness Outpost communicate with you about offers from Wilderness Outpost and our marketing partners. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information.

We have a parent’s permission to share the information if the user is a child under age 13. Parents have the option of allowing Wilderness Outpost to collect and use their child’s information without consenting to Wilderness Outpost sharing of this information with people and companies who may use this information for their own purposes.

We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Wilderness Outpost’s terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.

We transfer information about you if Wilderness Outpost is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Wilderness Outpost will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Wilderness Outpost displays targeted advertisements based on personal information. Advertisers (including ad serving companies) may assume that people who interact with, view, or click on targeted ads meet the targeting criteria - for example, women ages 18-24 from a particular geographic area. Wilderness Outpost does not provide any personal information to the advertiser when you interact with or view a targeted ad. However, by interacting with or viewing an ad you are consenting to the possibility that the advertiser will make the assumption that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad.

Wilderness Outpost advertisers include non-financial companies (such as stores, airlines, and software companies).

Cookies

Wilderness Outpost may set and access Wilderness Outpost cookies on your computer. Other companies’ use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one. Advertisers or other companies do not have access to Wilderness Outpost’s cookies.

Wilderness Outpost may use web beacons to access Wilderness Outpost cookies inside and outside our network of web sites and in connection with Wilderness Outpost products and services.

Confidentiality and Security

We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs. We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect personal information about you. Your Wilderness Outpost Account Information is password-protected. In certain areas Wilderness Outpost uses industry-standard SSL encryption to protect data transmissions.

Shipping Policy

Wilderness Outpost uses UPS as our shipping service. An Internet interface supplied by UPS calculates the shipping rates. This will insure the most current shipping rates are always quoted. In order to help you understand the UPS and Wilderness Outpost Policy, please review these guidelines.

Wilderness Outpost will ship your order within 48 hours of receipt. We usually do not ship items using UPS Next Day Service. However, if you request the UPS Next Day Service Wilderness Outpost will ship your items to the best of our ability. In this instance, those orders must be in our hands by 7:30 PST. There are some items that may be restricted for shipment by the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) in your area. You will immediately be advised if there should be a problem. Tracking numbers will be supplied if requested by email to customerservice@wildernessoutpost.com

Additional Shipping Charges

Some items require additional an additional shipping charge due to size, weight, or quantity ordered. Wilderness Outpost and UPS will ship to the contiguous 48 states only. For quotes on shipping rates outside of the contiguous 48 states, including Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, please email your shipping address to customerservice@wildernessoutpost.com. Please be sure to include the item number or description of the product(s) in your email. Ground delivery may not be available in some areas.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Wilderness Outpost may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your Wilderness Outpost account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.

Return Policy

If needed, we will assist our customers in working with manufacturers with regard any manufacturer warranty claims for our products.

Before returning any items you must call Wilderness Outpost and obtain a return authorization number. Items sent back without a return authorization number will be refused. All returned items must be returned in their original boxes and properly packaged to avoid damage in shipping. There are many different return items processing locations around the country. Your product may need to be returned to the proper location, so please call and obtain the proper shipping address for your product.

No returns will be accepted after 30 days from the date of purchase.

All returned items are subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee charge plus freight both ways. Items returned in damaged or severely used condition that cannot be resold as new have a 35% restocking fee and handling fee charge plus freight both ways. All returned items are subject to inspection, by the manufacturer, for use and damage before credit is issued to you. This may take in excess of 30 days and you may incur additional charges if product is returned in damaged condition.

In order to keep bringing these products to you at our guaranteed lowest prices, these return fees are necessary to cover the time and cost of repackaging the product for future shipment.
